In nature, every river, mountain, and landscape has an origin — a place where its story begins. The name Oorsprong, meaning origin or source, reflects this idea. The piece draws inspiration from the beauty found in nature's first forms, celebrating authenticity, creation, and the quiet strength of simplicity.

Each tray is handcrafted in South Africa and carefully shaped by hand using air-dry clay, reinforced with resin to ensure strength and durability while preserving the unique character of handmade craftsmanship.

The tray features an organically textured surface with naturally formed edges and elevated sculptural feet. Its flowing shape creates visual interest from every angle, giving the piece a raw yet refined appearance that complements both modern and timeless interiors.

A protective resin layer provides additional strength and a water-resistant finish while maintaining the natural texture and handcrafted appearance of the piece (not waterproof).
